One of our latest restoration projects is rebuilding a vintage Wisconsin-powered welder using parts from two old Wisconsin engines. Like many old machines, neither engine is complete or in running condition. Our aim is to carefully assess each engine, salvage the best components, and rebuild a reliable Wisconsin motor that will once again power a classic welder. The restoration will involve completely dismantling both engines, inspecting and cleaning every component, repairing or replacing worn parts where necessary, and reassembling the engine to original specifications. Wherever possible, we will preserve original components to maintain the character and authenticity of the machine. These old Wisconsin engines were built to last and played an important role powering welders, pumps, compressors and other industrial equipment across Australia. Restoring them not only preserves an important piece of engineering history but also ensures these remarkable machines can continue to be appreciated for years to come. |
